Q. Is registration required to participate?

Yes, you must register during the registration period in order to participate. Walk-in is not accepted.

Q. What are the methods of registration?

Registrations can be done only on GTT Full Throttle website. You can click on the following link to register http://gttfullthrottle.com/index.php?page=Register

Q. Is it mandatory that I register as a team or can I register individually?

Building a team is required.

Q. Is there a guideline provided to form a team?

A team can comprise of students from different years of study. However, the members and faculty mentor MUST be from the same college. All members must be Indian nationals residing in India. Any violation will lead to your team being disqualified. If you still wish to participate, please re-register as a new team, ensuring that all members are from India and the same college. This is applicable only if registrations are still open.

Q. Is faculty mentor mandatory for each team?

Yes, a faculty mentor is mandatory for each team.

Q. How many teams can a faculty member guide?

There is no limit to the number of teams for a faculty mentor to guide.

Q. Can I change my team members/faculty mentor after registration?

Changing of team members or faculty mentor is not permitted after registration.

Q. Can I register with multiple teams?

No. Please note that if a student or team has registered multiple times and submits multiple projects, then the first submission from them only will be considered and the others will be automatically disqualified. To avoid, this, please ensure that you participate only once.

Q. What is the required size of the team?

A team should consist of minimum of two and maximum of four members, not counting your faculty mentor.

Q. Is GTT Full Throttle beneficial for third-semester students or fourth-semester students? Or is it good for both?

This contest is beneficial for students of both semesters.

Q. Are first and second year engineering students eligible?

GTT Full Throttle is open to students from second year onwards. First year engineering students are not eligible to participate

Q. Can a team be formed with students from different colleges?

No. Team members and faculty must belong to the same college

Q. Can a lecturer or professor be my team member?

No, only students can be team members. Professors can only be faculty mentors.

Q. Can I use other software for submission in the competition?

No, you must only use Siemens PLM Software for this competition.

Q. How will I know if my team is selected for Regional Round & National Round?

The team would be informed via email and a phone call.

Q. Will I be certified if I don't win this contest?

Everyone who successfully submits a valid project will receive a participation certificate.

Q. Can I use this project as an academic project?

Yes project submitted for GTT Full Throttle can be used as an academic project.
